Good Morning, Monster book

This book is about five individuals whom I consider to be heroes of psychological wars. There is no doubt that the battles they fought left scars, but they emerged victorious in a true sense. The task of a hero is to endure and return, meaning that a hero achieves perfection through a unique act of courage, and through it, they are reborn, teaching us – the onlookers – the lessons they learned. My book is my way of praising these triumphant heroes and portraying them as they recount their terrifying yet fruitful stories, when each of them had to slay a different kind of monster, using different weapons and employing different war strategies. At first glance, these five may seem utterly different, but upon peeling back the layers, we discover that their unconscious needs are surprisingly similar, and that we all need to feel loved to live a good life. What these five teach us is that each one of us can be a hero; they show us how to dive deep into ourselves, shine a light on our hidden facets, unearth what lies in those dark corners, and finally confront it. They have bravely journeyed and explored unknown paths seeking change, reminding us that we can overcome our fears and break the boundaries we imposed upon ourselves when repression and safety seemed apparent. Ultimately, they instill inspiration in our hearts by showing us that every self-reflection is indeed courage itself. These brave souls have left an indelible mark within me during my time in psychological therapy, and I hope their courage inspires you as well.
